"Karnataka,the land of traditions celebrates, another year of glory."

To celebrate the rich culture and heritage of our State ,we the Staff and students of Bensons English Medium High School Yamanapur, Belagavi observed Rajyotsava Day with great pride and honour.

Invoking God's blessings over the celebration, the portrait of Karnataka Maata was offered a floral tribute by Academic Director Madam Rachana Gorle, Preprimary Principal Madam Anupama Sasane and the entire staff.

To express the immense love and honour we owe to our State a cultural programme was hosted. High school girls presented a traditional Kannada dance depicting the culture of Kannadigas . The Staff presented the State Anthem in a very melodious voice.

High School students presented speeches in Kannada which were glimpses of the rich legacy of Karnataka.

Preprimary, Primary and High School Students role played as great heroes of Karnataka,namely Veer Kittur Rani Chennamma and Sangoli Rayanna.

To conclude the celebration the Vote of Thanks was proposed and National Anthem was sung in honour of our Nation.

The celebration was a grand success with the support of the Management,the valuable guidance of our Academic Director Madam Rachana Gorle, the dedicated efforts of the Staff and students and the cooperation extended by the Parents.

" Let us conserve what the future generations deserve."

All of us, as inhabitants of the planet Earth are required to do all that is possible in our power to keep the environment clean and safe for us and the future generations. To drive home this idea, we, the Management, Staff and students of Bensons English Medium High School, Yamanapur Belagavi observed " World Environment Day - a day commemorated to celebrate Mother Earth and the many blessings the Almighty has gifted us through her to lead a peaceful life of abundance and satisfaction. Inorder to help the students realise how God is taking care of every creature He created, and develop in them an attitude of gratitude we conducted this event by giving praises unto the Lord through prayers and prayer songs.

  • The high school students highlighted the importance of the ONLY EARTH we have through their valuable speeches.
  • Students of the kindergarten gave brief speeches on a very valuable life sustaining component, 'water' - the elixir of all life forms.
  • To add more meaning to this celebration students spoke about the activities they had done inorder to spread the message of protecting the environment and making the Earth a better place to live in. Various posters bearing the message of a clean, happy and safe environment were put on display in the school premises.
  • The Staff and students pledged themselves to create a safe environment and respect Nature.
  • The celebration was a great success with the valuable encouragement and support given by the Management, and guidance of our Academic Director Madam Rachana Gorle and the dedicated efforts of the Staff and students.

Grandparents Day

"Grandparents are footsteps to future generations."

There is something special about grandparents. With their love the garden of life blooms.

To acknowledge these genuine souls we get to meet in our life's journey, we celebrated "Grandparents Day on 26th November.

It was amazing to see the tiny tots of our preprimary and primary section hold on to their grandparents' hands and step into the function hall.

  • With welcome tokens the staff led them to the selfie corner to have themselves captured in the camera, thus creating imprints of sweet memories for a lifetime.
  • The celebration commenced with a warm welcome to our esteemed Chief Guest, dignitaries and grandparents.
  • God's blessings were invoked by Pastor Benny Sir and also the scripture message for the day was shared.
  • To make the occasion more auspicious the Lamp was lit by our Chief Guest Dr. Sujata Jali a renowned personality of KLE University, Guest of Honour Pastor Benny Sir, Academic Director of Bensons Group of Institutions Madam Rachana Gorle and other dignitaries.
  • The gracious presence of our Chief Guest and Guest of honour was acknowledged by felicitating them with tokens of love and gratitude.
  • The school choir presented a prayer song in the Lord's honour.
  • To make the Grandparents aware about how special they are, the significance of the day was briefed, and a cultural bonanza was hosted in their honour.
  • With great joy in their hearts and smiles on their faces the school choir sang a welcome song.
  • Students delivered speeches in English, Kannada and Hindi to express how they feel in the company of their grandparents and the cultural and moral values they have inculcated from them.
  • Chief Guest Dr. Sujata Jali addressed the audience saying that it is the Grandparents who have to play the crucial role of passing the baton of Indian culture, healthy food habits and deep sense of patriotism inorder to carve a healthy life style for the coming generations of our nation.
  • Taking this as an opportunity to shower their grandparents with love, the preprimary and primary students presented dance performances to entertain them.
  • The kids were glad to watch their grandpas and grandmas enjoy playing the musical chair.
  • These few hours spent with their grandchildren made them feel young again.
  • To conclude the celebration the vote of thanks was proposed and refreshments were served to the Grandparents.
  • Celebrating this day helped each one of us realise all of the reasons why they are so "GRAND."

The celebration was a great success with the grace of the Almighty, the support of the Management, the valuable guidance of our Academic Director Madam Rachana Gorle, the team efforts of the Staff and students,and the cooperation of the parents and the grandparents.

Umbrella Day Celebration

“Umbrellas in beautiful colours have the power to paint the world colourful."

The pre-primary section of Bensons English Medium High School, Yamanapur Belagavi, had a colourful UMBRELLA DAY CELEBRATION.

It was amazing to see the tiny tots walk in, all excited to know how their Umbrellas doned with a touch of creativity would be kept on display at school.

Dressed in their best colourful outfits they were eagerly posing for the group class photos.

The entire campus was decked up with the beautiful Umbrellas brought by the kids.Teachers explained to them about the uses of an umbrella, material used to make Umbrellas and how to handle them.

The celebration was a great success with the valuable guidance of our Academic Director Madam Rachana Gorle and the team efforts of the parents, students and the staff.

Blue Day Celebration

" Let the blue sky meet the blue sea, and all is blue for a time."

Hey! Today it was BLUE DAY CELEBRATION at our school. To develop a deep understanding of the significance of the colour 'BLUE' we conducted various activities for kids of preprimary section. Significance of various hues of blue was shared during the assembly. To help students identify the various hues of blue craft activities like pasting cotton clouds, earbud raindrops, making a blue whale using glaze paper, blue flower wall hangings and and butterfly face masks were conducted by teachers. These activities also helped to improve the students' ability to identify different shades of blue, enhance their fine motor skills and hand - eye coordination. Students had come dressed in beautiful blue outfits and enjoyed doing the activities under the guidance of their teachers. It was a successful celebration with the support of the Management, the valuable guidance of our Academic Director Madam Rachana Gorle, the keen interest taken by the students and teachers.

Independence Day Celebration

“Freedom in the Mind, Faith in the words, Pride in our Souls."

To Salute the Nation and express our patriotism, we at Bensons English Medium High School, Yamanapur Belagavi assembled on the auspicious morning of 15th August, 2022 to celebrate Azaadi ka Amrut Mahotsav. Chief Guest Dr. Goroshi, Guest of Honour Pastor Benny, Academic Director Madam Rachana Gorle and other esteemed dignitaries hoisted the tricolour as a mark of respect for 75 years of glorious Independence. We had a cultural programme to honour our motherland. God's blessings over the celebration were invoked by Pastor Benny and the scripture message was shared.

Students delivered speeches to express how they feel proud about being a part of the 75th Independence Day Celebration. Role plays of freedom fighters like Kittur Rani Chennamma, Sangoli Rayyanna, Bhagat Singh and Dr. B. R. Ambedkar were presented by the primary students. High school students performed dances on patriotic songs to express their pride and love for the nation. In house patriotic singing competition was conducted to encourage students to keep the spirit of patriotism burning. Chief Guest Dr. Goroshi addressed the audience and shared his views about how the young generation should be fit and healthy inorder to carry forth the nation on the path of progress.

Academic Director Madam Rachana Gorle in her speech shared how our nation has been progressing in the field of farming, dairy, industry and technology and becoming self-sufficient, and what role we the present generation need to play for enhancing the growth of our motherland.

School as an institution is a platform for instilling in students leadership qualities and bestowing upon them responsibilities so that they prepare themselves to take charge of situations they encounter in the journey of life.

On 18th June,2022, to empower young leaders of our school, we the Management and Staff of Bensons English Medium High School ,Yamanapur Belagavi ,conducted the Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2022-23.

To commence the event the school choir sang praises unto the Lord by presenting a devotional song.

Light symbolises brightness and a happy beginning, hence the Master Candle was lit by our esteemed Chief Guest Shri Sunil Balasaheb Patil (CPI -Mal Maruti Police station), our Guest of Honour and spiritual leader Pastor Nooruddin Mulla, Academic Director Madam Rachana Gorle and other dignitaries.

  • The gracious presence of our Chief Guest,Guest of Honour and esteemed dignitaries was acknowledged by presenting momentos and bouquets.
  • Sharing the scripture message for the occasion, Pastor Nooruddin Mulla encouraged the young student cabinet members to render their duties wisely.
  • The Head Boy and Head girl were presented with the badges by our Chief Guest. Guest of Honour Pastor Nooruddin Mulla and Academic Director Madam Rachana Gorle presented the badges to the House Captains and Prefects.
  • The student cabinet was pleged in by the President of the event, our Academic Director Madam Rachana Gorle.
  • Chief Guest Shri Sunil Balasaheb Patil encouraged the newly elected leaders to perform their duties with utmost responsibility and help in the smooth functioning of the school.
  • The Benediction Prayer was offered by our Spiritual leader Pastor Nooruddin Mulla.
  • The event concluded with the vote of thanks which was presented by our high school student and the National Anthem was sung by the school choir.

The ceremony was a great success with the kind cooperation of the Management, the valuable guidance of our Academic Director Madam Rachana Gorle, the untiring efforts of the Staff and the active participation of the students.
